The 2012 Danjerra Dam facebook Bass Comp is approaching fast.
This is an invitation event only but I will do full report following my return home.
In the meantime here is a bit of a guide to the Dam and Surrounds.
Danjera Dam is is located around 20km west of Nowra on the NSW south coast. It is one of the largest buttress type dams in Australia.
Surrounded by bushland it is a picturesque location which is gaining in popularity. Although relatively small is area, Danjera Dam is quite deep with steep sides.
Electric motors, paddle or sail power are permitted, thus making it a great canoe / kayak fishing location where one can sneak up on fish without the worry of waves and wakes from bigger bass / ski boats.
